3.5.2 Summarizing Sources

Today's lesson will be about:

Objectives
You will be able to:
  • Identify the components of a reliable but not academic source.
  • Identify what kind of information should be included in a well-developed summary. 
  • Write a 5-sentence summary of a reliable but not academic source for an annotate bibliography. 



Homework
Write a summary of a reliable but NOT academic source according to today's lesson.
Make sure to include all elements that we discussed in class today.
*Name the file "Other Source Summary_Your First Name"
*Upload the file on Google Drive>>>Unit3. Annotated Bibliography.
*Due date and time: Apr, 8 (Wed) by 3:00 pm sharp.
This homework is 20 points in total. No late submission or revision is acceptable for this particular homework. I look for not only completion but also quality of your summary. 

Unit3. First Draft Due
Complete 3 Annotated Bibliographies (ABs) and upload them (1 Word Document) on the Google folder for feedback. 
(It should have all 4 sections--APA citation, Summary, Relevancy and Reliability statements).
Based on feedback on 3 ABs, you will be able to revise or edit your final draft.

*Due date and time: Apr, 10 (Fri) 11:55 pm sharp. 

Unit3. Final Draft Submission
Complete 5 ABs (1 Word Document). It should have all 4 sections--APA citation, Summary, Relevancy and Reliability statements.

*Upload the file on Compass2g.
